We Serve. It's that simple and that powerful.

Kittery Lions Club

The Kittery Lions Club is a group of dedicated volunteers who share a common goal: to improve the lives of our neighbors here in the Seacoast. Since our founding, we have been a fixture of the Kittery community, standing as a local chapter of Lions Clubs International—the world’s largest service organization.

Our commitment to service and community empowerment drives our mission to make a lasting difference in Kittery and beyond.

Our Mission

Our Mission

To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. In Kittery, that translates to hands-on action, local fundraising, and a "neighbors helping neighbors" philosophy.

Over 60 Years of Impact

Our history is visible on the walls of our hall. With over six decades of service, the Kittery Lions have reached major milestones, including our 60th Charter Anniversary.

From sponsoring new clubs in the region to earning international awards for our humanitarian efforts, our legacy is built on a foundation of consistency. When there is a need in Kittery—whether it’s related to vision health, hunger, or local disaster relief—the Lions are there to answer the call.

What we do

We focus our efforts on the "Global Causes" of Lionism, tailored specifically for our Maine community:

  • Vision & Hearing: Providing screenings and assistance for those in need.

  • Hunger Relief: Supporting local food pantries and community drives.

  • Youth Support: Investing in the next generation of Kittery leaders.

  • Community Partnership: Working closely with our neighbors, like the York Lions Club, to maximize our impact across the Seacoast.
